CACFP

The YMCA is proud to participate in the Child and Adult Care Food Program. The goal of this program is to increase the YMCA’s ability to meet the nutritional needs of children in our care by providing meals and snacks that meet CACFP requirements. In addition, we promote understanding of the role of nutrition in the physical, mental and social health of children and help develop positive food attitudes and eating behaviors.

Financial Assistance Program

With a commitment to nurturing the potential of kids, promoting healthy living and fostering a sense of social responsibility, the Legacy YMCA ensures that every individual has access to the essentials needed to learn, grow and thrive.

Legacy YMCA financial assistance amounts are handled in a fair and consistent manner.  Every YMCA member receives the same membership benefits, regardless of whether they are receiving a scholarship.  YMCA members can feel confident knowing that they are a part of an organization that cares greatly for the well-being of all people and is committed to youth development, healthy living, and social responsibility.

To apply for a financial assistance, simply complete the application form. Then provide the requested information regarding income and family size to the Legacy YMCA, so that we can provide scholarships in a fair and consistent manner.
